Looking back on some fun projects…

My apologies for having been slack at posting info on my blog over the last couple of months.  It’s not that I haven’t been busy: there have been some super projects, including a couple with Stevie Wishart and her ensemble Sinfonye which took me to the Herrenhausen Festival in Hanover and the Vooruit in Gent.

Then there was a concert with the Aquarius ensemble in De Singel, Antwerpen. The programme comprised music by Hanns Eisler and clips from Charlie Chaplin films – a great concept.

And then yesterday out of the blue a fun interview for Flemish television about football teams singing their National Anthems! If you’re curious, you should be able to watch it here for the next few days.

On Saturday 30th June I will be getting out my cello to play with the Impulse orchestra outside the Flagey building in Brussels at 18:00.  The music is a classical-rock mix and it should be a groovy event for the whole family – do come and join us!
