Well, despite the general economic gloom, 2012 has started quite well for me. A recording with the Aquarius ensemble of pieces by the Flemish composer Lucien Posman will be released in time for his 60th anniversary concert in March. More info on that nearer the date.
Then, we will be singing Stevie Wishart’s Out of this World as part of Hannover’s Herrenhausen Festival in June. This splendid work, inspired by Hildegard Von Bingen, was commissioned by the BBC and performed in the UK Proms series last summer. What a pleasure to get the chance to sing it again.
And in the meantime, a host of smaller projects in ensemble and with my pianist promise a busy start to the year.
And my New Year’s resolution? To keep my website up-to-date, of course…
